Back to Work Networking Events

Have you decided to go back to work and are struggling to get a foot in the door, then these 3 events are for you!

Hochschule expat event

First this Thursday March 2nd at 17.30 the Hochschule will be hosting an event called Bridging the Gap focusing on a better integration of expats in the Swiss work environment which we are supporting, along with MSD and Business Lucerne.

It will not only be a great opportunity to meet local business people but also to take part in a series of informal discussions about various topics such as Swiss Working Culture, Sharing Good Practice and Job Hunting Tips & Tricks. Be sure to register here.

Then on March 17th will be an opportunity to do some more networking with locals and expats at this fun wine tasting event at the Hochschule.

Finally on March 23, 30 and April 6. JIFF will be holding its first CV for the Swiss Market Workshop of the year.

Nowadays applying for a job seems to be a job in itself. Gone are the days of writing one résumé and blanket sending it to all the local companies; these days each company expects a tailor made C.V. and, of course, each culture has its own dos and don’ts. In this 3 session workshop we will look at what the various forms of résumés are and how you can adapt yours to be the best fit the various markets in Switzerland, as well as helping you to stand out from the competition and, finally, we will give you some precious tips on interview techniques as well as offer you the opportunity to try out your newly found skills during a mock interview. The workshop will be run in three parts on March 23 & 30 and April 6 from 18.30 until 20.30 and will cost CHF 30.-

Places are limited so be sure to sign up early if you would like to attend. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact us.
