COOP’s Open Air Cinema season started on Wednesday and runs until Sunday 20th August. They will be showing a huge variety of popular films including La La Land, Beauty and the Beast, Heidi, Mamma Mia and many more.  The event takes place down by the lake at Aula Alpenquai (just down the road from the Lili Centre). The full programme can be viewed here and tickets can be brought online hereThis is a great event for all the family so be sure to check it out! Friday

“The Queen’s Six” will be preforming on Friday evening from 19:00 at the Marianischer Saal (Bahnhofstrasse 18, 6003 Luzern). They are a 6-piece male acapella ensemble from the UK, who live and work within the walls of Windsor Castle and regularly preform for the British Royal Family! Their repertoire spans sacred and secular music from the Middle Ages to the present day. They are currently touring Switzerland, Austria and Germany, more details of which can be found on their official website. Best of all, entrance for the concert in Luzern is free!

Still looking for something to do this Saturday evening? Any fans of house-music will want to check out this event – MOOV the Lake! It’s a dance party and lake cruise all in one! With four live DJ’s and all-inclusive food and drinks this promises to be a fun filled evening! Tickets cost CHF 96.- and are selling fast, but there are still some available online here.
