JIFF – Back to Work workshop

Our workshops have been perfected over the years and this last workshop was the most useful to date because we not only showed how to write a CV specifically for the Swiss market, but also understand the importance of personal branding and social media; as well as how recruiters use tools to dissect your CV and how to turn your weaknesses into USPs.

The next 3 part JIFF workshop will be starting on Wednesday 8th November at the Lili Centre.

SESSION ONE: 8 NOVEMBER 2017 (18:30 – 20:30)

This first session will be led by Denise Mattsson and is all about preparing your CV for the Swiss market. Your USP, your CV & selling yourself on paper. Participants should bring their CVs with them on this evening.

SESSION TWO:  15 NOVEMBER 2017 (18:30 – 20:30)

The second session will be divided into two parts. The first will be led by Lina  Petraviciute and covers LinkedIn, your social media profile and its importance. The second part will be led by Evelin Bermudez of SIVO and talk about strategic volunteering.

SESSION THREE: 22 NOVEMBER 2017 (18:30 – 20:30)

The final session will be led by Dr Brandi Eijsermans. How are your CVs interpreted by recruiters? How to make your weaknesses your USPs?!

Time: 18:30 – 20:30
Cost: CHF 40.- per person* for the whole 3 part workshop (to be paid in cash on first evening) Drop in rate: CHF 20.- per session. If you sign up but cancel later than 24 hours before the course, we will ask you to pay the fee all the same.

*Please note a minimum of 5 participants is needed to run the workshop.
