This weekend (13. – 15. April) is ‘Boot Luzern’, a special exhibition dedicated to boats of all shapes and sizes! SNG and Bucher & Schmid Bootswerft AG will be demonstrating over 60 boats from 3 to 15 meters in length, as well as rowing and paddle boats. The exhibition will take place at the Alpenquai (11/13, 6005 Luzern) and also include the chance to try out stand up paddle boarding, purchase sailing clothing as well as activities for kids (including a pirate ship bouncy castle)! Parking and moorings are available and best of all entrance is free! Opening times: Friday 12:00 – 18:00 Saturday 10:00 – 18.00 & Sunday 10:00 – 18:00. The annual ‘Streetfood Festival Luzern’ returns to the city this Friday evening (17:30 – 00:00) and is located at the Eiszentrum, Luzern (Aussenfeld, Eisfeldstrasse 2, 6005 Luzern)! With over 55 food stalls serving up small tasting portions, visitors can enjoy a culinary tour around the world in just one evening! Other entertainment will include street musicians, jugglers and street-art artists as well as the Coop Kinderland for children! Entrance to the event is free! The annual ‘Rotseelauf’ (in Ebikon) takes place this Saturday afternoon! The official start time for the 10km race is 14:00 and details of the full programme can be found here. Although online registration is now closed it is possible to make a late entry on the day from 10am up until 1 hour before the start of race! More information about the event can be found here

Fumetto – the international comix festival – starts this Saturday! The event is one of Europe’s leading international comix and related media festivals featuring fine art, graphic design and illustration. It takes place over 9 days and incorporates 12 main and 40 satellite exhibitions. On display is work by the world’s most important comix artists, renowned illustrators as well as up-and-coming new talent! Also taking place this weekend (13. – 15. April), the Verkehrshaus (Lidostrasse 5, 6006 Luzern) will be hosting ‘Road Days 2018’! A whole weekend dedicated to cars and automobile racing!
