Following the scandal at the Postauto company the CEO Mrs Ruof has resigned effective immediately. Postauto is suspected of having faked thousands of receipts between 2007 and 2015 in order to get more susbsidies from the government. The CEO is thought to have known about this, although she has claimed not to have known about the practice.

Over 100 000 visitors went to visit the E Race in Zurich on Sunday. It is unclear whether there will be a sequel to this race in Zurich as the inhabitants complained about feeling as if they were living in cages, due to the vast amount of fencing put up all around the course. Activists were also complaining that even if the cars were electric the policy should be towards phasing out cars from town centres not encouraging races.

The Beach Volley Tournament which took place mid-May did not help the association to recover its debts. Currently the Beach Sports Lucerne AG is facing a further deficit of 2 million francs and still waiting to receive any money from its main sponsor based in Bahrain. It is unclear whether there will be an international volleyball tournament in 2019.
