|What’s on| 19 – 21 October


The Neubad’s (Bireggstrasse 36, 6003 Luzern) ‘Piano im Pool‘ festival is this weekend (18 – 20 October) with various events and concerts taking place across the 3 days. On Friday evening young jazz artist Antonin Boinay will be preforming at 18:30 followed by David Tixier and Lada Obradovic at 19:30! Tickets can be brought online here. On Saturday morning (9:00) you can join an aqua-yoga class at the Hotel Alexander in Weggis (Hertensteinstrasse 42, 6353 Weggis). The session takes place in their heated infinity pool and is followed up by a delicious breakfast buffet at the hotel! CHF 59.- per person including breakfast. On Saturday evening (19:00 – 22:00) the Lili Centre in Luzern (Alpenquai 40a, 6005 Luzern) will be hosting their next International Dinner, a tapas and flamenco fiesta! The flamenco group will recreate an authentic atmosphere full of passion and thunder with Luzern based dancer Renata Nunes accompanied by guitarist Daniel Portman and singer Rafael Paneque! Dinner will be a selection of tasty tapas and the bar will be fully stocked! Tickets cost just CHF 35.- for Lili Centre members (45.- for non-members) but be quick, the signup deadline is today (Thursday 18. October)! Click here to sign up!

For your chance to be crowned ‘King of Beards’ head to the Hotel Bänklialp in Engelberg (Bänklialpweg 25, 6390 Engelberg) this Saturday evening for the traditional „Bartabhauätä“ (beard shaving event)! It costs just CHF 15.- to enter your facial hair and whoever sheds the most will be crowned champion! Entrance for spectators is CHF 10.- and the show starts at 20:00, to reserve a seat call +41 41 639 68 68.


It’s the last day of the Lozärner Määs (autumn fair) so if you haven’t had a chance yet today is your last opportunity to check it out! With a diverse range of tasty food options, unusual gift ideas and exhilarating rides for both young and old this is a great afternoon out for all the family!
