Christmas Services in Lucerne

Although it has become much more than that Christmas is, at heart, a celebration for the birth of Jesus and, for many, the only time of the year when they go to church.

Here are some of the local churches we suggest you attend this Christmas.

The International Church of Lucerne will be offering 3 English speaking Christmas services.

The first service will be on Sunday December 16 from 10.30 to 12.00 – this will be their Expat Christmas Service (for those of us going away for Christmas)

There will be a Christmas service on Sunday December 23 at 10.30 to 12.00

and a Christmas Carole Service Monday December 24 at 21.00 that same evening.

There will be no service on December 25.

The International Church of Zug will have a Christmas Eve service on Monday December 24 at 18:00 until 19:00.

You can find a list of all English speaking worship places here.

The Hofkirche will be celebrating a Christmas eve midnight mass at 23:00 until midnight and has several services scheduled for Christmas Day.
